How is it possible that it’s July already?! We have officially reached the midpoint of the year. It is the halfway mark in our cycle of goals, growth, and everything in between. If you are anything like the rest of us, the start of the year arrived with big intentions. We were clear on our vision, fired up by our goals, and eager to take aligned action.
But now, the summer has rolled in HOT and with it, a mix of fatigue, reflection, and maybe even a quiet inner voice whispering “I thought I’d be further along by now.”
July is an invitation. A purposeful checkpoint where we pause, reassess, and possibly initiate a Summer Energy Reset. This is not just in our work, but in our body, our mindset, and our spirit.
Why We Need a Reset
By the time we get to mid-year, many of us are carrying invisible baggage; the accumulation of decisions, detours, and demands we didn’t quite anticipate. Even with the best of intentions, leaks in our energy can occur. We may have overcommitted, under-rested, second-guessed, or pursued outcomes that were no longer in alignment.
If you’ve been feeling scattered, unmotivated, or out of sync with your original goals, it doesn’t mean you’re off track. It means your energy needs tending.
This is simply a flag. A signal from our nervous system, that we need to come back to center, and to balance.

The midpoint of the year isn’t the time to panic. It’s the time to pivot. With awareness, curiosity, and compassion, we can shift gears. We can choose presence over pressure and clarity over chaos. This summer, give yourself permission to pause. This is not a luxury, it is a strategy.
Resetting restores our energy. It’s the practice of noticing when our energy is off and choosing to realign before lack of motivation, distractions or burnout decides for us.
This summer, give yourself permission to slow down, tune in, and re-anchor to your purpose. Let go of what’s heavy, reconnect with what aligns, and replenish the energy you’ll need to finish the year strong and fulfilled.
